Privacy notice
The Stellenbosch Magazine ("the magazine") processes personal information in line with South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA), and with the GDPR in mind for readers abroad.
What is collected
Only what a reader types in: a name and email address when booking event tickets or sending an enquiry, and the message itself. Card details are handled by the payment provider and never stored by the magazine.
Why
To issue and deliver tickets, to tell event organisers how many people are coming, and to answer enquiries. Nothing is sold or shared for advertising.
Cookies and analytics
No advertising or tracking cookies. Visitor statistics, if switched on, use a cookieless service. The preview's Editor's desk stores sample events in the browser's own storage only.
Your rights
Readers may ask to see, correct or delete their information, or object to its use, by contacting the magazine. Complaints may be lodged with the Information Regulator (South Africa).
